Sundarban
Sundarbans, the largest in the world measuring about 40,000 sq km is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal of Bangladesh’s Khulna Division. It spans from the Hooghly River in India’s state of West Bengal to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh. Four protected areas in the Sundarbans are enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Sundarbans National Park, Sundarbans West, Sundarbans South and Sundarbans East Wildlife Sanctuaries. The Sundarbans mangrove forest covers an area of about 10,000 km2 of which forests in Bangladesh’s Khulna Division extend over 6,017 km2 and in West Bengal India extend over 4,260 km2 across the South 24 Parganas and North 24 Parganas districts.

Day 1: Departure from Dhaka
Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport/Train station/Bus station, Transfer to Khulna by private van (distance abound 333KM from Dhaka).
Day 2: Adventure in mangrove area
Around 11:00AM start our cruise from Mongla The boat will stop after 30 min cruising to Dhangmari forest station to take forest permission and forest armed guards as conventional to Reserve Forest. Start cruise to Katka. On the way to will stop to Harbaria forest station and visit walking zone. Return Boat and have lunch. After lunch start cruise to Katka. In this river you have a chance to see many crocodile. In the evening we will cruise a narrow creeks to observe the wildlife & tiger. Reach Katka forest station in the evening dinner and overnight at our boat.
Day 3: Katka & Kochikhali wild life visit
In the early morning join a silent boat trip by a country boat through narrowed creeks to observe the wildlife and specially to observe the most enchanting local birds including the rare species of masked fin foot, Kingfisher, serpentine eagle, stork, flycatcher, Bee eaters and different types tailor and weaving birds. Start return journey at night.
Day 4: Pakhit Khal, Bird River visit
Early in the morning we will cruise with our country boat at Pakhit Khal (bird river). During this long journey you may come across different type of wild animals, crocodiles basking on the river bank and if you lucky enough you may meet the swimming tiger which is common feature in this littoral forest. Reach Mongla in the afternoon.

The most abundant tree’s variety of the world largest mangrove forest are Sundri and Gewa. There is a trail from Kochikhali to Kotka which goes through the jungle open field and Jamtola sea beach located deep inside the Sundarban in the shore of Bay of Bengal. Walking on about 10km long trail will provide a great experience to discover the Sundarban Mangrove Forest in Bangladesh.
Sundarban is home of the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards, Rhinoceros, Wild Buffaloes, Wild Hogs, Wild Cats, Barasinga, Spotted Deer, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, and Monkeys are the principal varieties of wild animals found in Sundarbans. Crocodile, River Dolphins and Irrawaddy Dolphins are also found in the Sundarban.
