Saint Martin’s Island
Saint Martin’s Island is a small beautiful coral island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh. It is the southernmost landmark of Bangladesh located about 8 km west of the northwest coast of Myanmar at the mouth of the Naf river. Saint Martin’s Island It is a very quiet, clean. Small living and dead coral colonies are found in this island.
Chera Dwip a small adjoining island of Saint Martin’s. Need to hire a speed boat or local fishing boat to reached at Chera Dwip also can visit by foot in low tide time. It is an extension to the Saint Martin’s Island surrounded by coral’s. in the time of high tide Chera Dwip looks separated from Saint Martin’s Island.
Narikel Jinjira is another name of Saint Martin’s Island. A lot’s of coconut trees grows in this Island that’s for that local community named it Narikel Jinjira. In the time of full moon Saint Martin’s Island flashed its another beauties. Lots of tourist from different part of Bangladesh also international tourist come to visit Saint Martin’s Island to enjoy its natural beauties.
