Sylhet Division is the northeastern division of Bangladesh. Sylhet shares the bordered with Indian states Meghalaya, Assam and Tripura to the north, east and south respectively. Sylhet is known for its Sufi shrines Saint Hazrat Shah Jalal & Hazrat Shah Paran (R) Dargah. The tiny Museum of Rajas contains belongings of the local folk poet Hasan Raja. A 3-domed gateway stands at the 17th-century Shahi Eidgah, a huge open-air hilltop mosque built by Emperor Aurangzeb. Sylhet is known for its cane products and produces tea, fertilizer, and liquefied petroleum (propane) gas. There are also several handicraft cottage industries, including mat weaving and bamboo work. Tea estates southeast of Sylhet provide most of the tea demand in Bangladesh’s and export grate one tea world wide. Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Transfer to the morning train to Sylhet (except Tuesday)/Flight/Private Van, upon arrival you will be received and transferred to the hotel/resort in Sylhet, check-in hotels and take rest. In the evening visit Sylhet town. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Explore Tamabil & Jaflong
After breakfast start for a full day trip to Tamabil and Jaflong. Tamabil is a border outpost on the Sylhet-Shillong road about 55 km from Sylhet town. Glimpses of the waterfalls across the border from Tamabil add to the enchanting views of the hilly area. Jaflong is a scenic spot nearby amidst tea gardens and beauty of rolling stones from hills. In the afternoon drive to Srimangal for dinner, return back to hotel, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Explore Madhobkunda Waterfall
After breakfast drive for approximately two hours to the Madhobkunda waterfall. Surrounded by large tea estates, and decorated with water lilies. The rubber, betel leaf, and lemon plantations form a mosaic of greens, typical for this rolling landscape. From there drive to Srimangal, for visit tea gardens, return to the hotel/resort, take rest and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Explore Lawacharra National Park
After breakfast visit Lawacharra National Park by private van. After lunch visits the nearby Monipuri tribal village, back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Return
After breakfast check-out from hotel, transfer to Osmani International Airport/Train station/Bus station, board your flight for your onward destination with precious memories of Sylhet.
